This is a class of AWESOME readers! We have already enjoyed our first Reading Celebration this year. At this rate, we should be able to break all previous records. Keep up the GREAT work grade 5!
We have been reading, listening to, and writing our own fractured fairy tales. Students have come up very creative ideas on how to fracture their fairy tale that they have composed. Please comment below:
a) Which fairy tale did you fracture? b) How did you fracture (or change) your fairy tale? c) What is the THEME or moral or lesson of your fractured Fairy Tale? - Remember to Follow my Blogging Guidelines when making a post! The world is reading this! This has been a fun tradition in my classroom for many years. We have Dinner with the Queen. I encourage students to dress their best, we practice proper table ettiquette, we enjoy an amazing potluck meal together and then of course, we dance! Students waltz around the room and pretent that they are surrounded by royalty. It is a day filled with elegance, grace and royalty. And now, I need a nap! Thank you to our parents who contributed amazing dishes to help make our meal a success. Please enjoy the photos. Your Magesty, The Queen. |
